Han övertalade sin pappa, fastighetsägaren Åke Fogelberg, att starta Shurgard Europa tillsammans med honom. Sagt och gjort. I januari 1994 lanserades bolaget som ett joint venture med den amerikanska förrådsjätten. Tio år senare valde de att sälja Shurgard Europa till moderbolaget.
